A Week in my Trainers

I’ve taken a week away from blogging this week.  I’ve been really busy at work and the beginning of silly season means that a lot of free time has been spent on getting into the festive spirit.  However, I’ve managed to fit in a few workouts, not to mention the Lululemon Yoga Rave which had me clapping, chanting and having more fun than I thought possible in exercise kit and glow sticks.

Monday – Lunchtime Run

I didn’t wear any tech for this run, I just got out there for roughly 30 minutes for a dash around the City.  It really broke up the day at work and cleared my mind for the afternoon.  If you have washrooms at work, or a drawer for wipes, spray and dry shampoo, then give a lunchtime run a go.

Tuesday – Circuits

10kg DB Hip Raises

10x 5kg DB Front Raise

10x 5kg DB Side Raise

12 x Bosu Push Ups

10x 5kg DB Hammer Curls

10x 7kg DB Moving Plank to Row

300m Sprints (15km/h)

15x TRX Splits to Pikes

10x TRX Push Ups to Tucks

30 second Superman

Wednesday -The Lululemon Yoga Rave

I had no idea how yoga would work in the same sentence as rave.  What it meant was yoga poses, bouncing, chanting, Kundalini yoga and glow sticks.  It was so much fun to dance around like you were five year olds at a disco and really inspiring to be led by Gloria who had flown all the  way from Vancouver.  The whole project is to #FuelHappiness and that’s exactly what it did.

20x 6kg FB Lunge to Press (10 each leg)

300m Sprint (16km/h)
